Our purpose in Arizona is to:

1. To create more good Muaythai fighters
2. To give people muaythai techniqes to defend themselves
3. To give people a top physical conditioning work out to be in shape, for weight loss, and to stay healthy

Paul Metayo, the chief trainer and owner of Arizona Muaythai, first opened a Muaythai school in Fresno, California on 9-28-1991.  On Novmeber 1996, Paul Metayo started to promote Muaythai events until 12-31-2006.  On 5-19-2001, Paul moved the school to Clovis, California until 2007 before moving to Glendale, Arizona.

In California, Paul Metayo produced 6 champions:

1) Chris Brannum
2) Alex Sekulitz Fernandez
3) Alex Gong (who later became Fairtex Muaythai owner from 9-1995 to 9-2002) and 5 time World Champion
4) Lisette Pelayo
5) Neveen Contreras
6) Joanna Mancillas

Paul also has made three top fighters, Kirk Floyd, Rubuen Rivera, and Gilbert Blancas.  You can see his pictures from the home page in images 1,2,3 and 9.
